I currently Attend the University of Hawaii at West Oahu. I am in my third year, pursuing my B.S.S in Economics. I hold a 3.61 GPA.
Experience
I do not have any experience tutoring in a professional manner; however, I have helped many of my peers in a range of areas. I have also been a peer mentor on my campus for two years. I am very approachable, and I can relate to students of all skill sets, surely finding a way to get the information across in an appropriate manner. Primarily, I can mainly tutor students in math, up to pre-calculus, as I am taking calculus in upcoming semesters. If there is a concept that I am unsure of, I have the resources to seek out the solution. I can of course help out in other areas such as reading and writing, but my strongest subject and understanding is in math. I want to be a tutor because I know that I am capable of helping students succeed. I have been a peer mentor for quite sometime, and I enjoy extending a helping hand for the positive growth of a peer or student. I am confident that I would be able to help any student in need of services I offer.

Hobbies
Apart from school, I love being outdoors. I surf quite often, and I hike when I get the chance. I recently got into scuba diving, and I fell in love with that as well! I try to stay active and keep a healthy lifestyle to the best of my abilities. Also, I work at the Marriott Beach Club in Ko'olina on the weekends.
