I am here to not only tutor students but to also show people the value of education. Education is very important to me and my family. I was brought up to value education and was always told to do my very best in school. Ever since I was in middle school, I have taken care of my little sister. I would would drop/pick her up to/from school. I noticed that she was not doing so well on her spelling tests, so I took the initiative to tutor her when my parents were at work. I taught her different techniques to help her study and encouraged her to make flash cards. She went from getting 50% correct to getting 100%. That experience was so fulfilling and I knew that this was something that I really wanted to do. I wanted to help students become better students and give them the opportunity to be successful in their education.
