I recently finished my postgraduate studies at Southern Methodist University, where I received my master's degree in orchestral conducting from the Meadows School of the Arts. I have a wealth of experience in education. Not only have I tutored privately but I have taught classrooms of a diverse range of students, from elementary to university level learners.I am passionate about teaching. Having had a few outstanding teachers growing up, I know how important it is to have academic role models. For this reason, I work hard to put in the same effort and dedication that my mentors did for me.As a tutor, I work to establish relationships with my students. By doing this, I am able to understand how each individual learns, what their motivations are, and what they wish to achieve through education. By knowing these things, I am equipped to help the student prepare for academic and professional success.It is my goal to help my students develop the skills necessary to work and study independently. I strive to make positive contributions to my students' lives, helping them with a range of subjects. Along with music, I tutor elementary and middle school math, English, Latin, and German. I am also in the process of working towards my doctorate in musical conducting.
